Meet Andrea

My name is Andrea and I am another contributor to this blog.

I am a full time student in the Master of Education program at the University of Ontario Institute of Technology and I also graduated from UOIT’s Bachelor of Education program in 2011. I have a growing interest in technology and education, specifically how collaboration occurs in an online environment.

Throughout this blog, my posts will reflect personal interests of mine regarding the changing pedagogy online technology brings to education. Specifically, how will collaboration be affected by new technologies and what role do learning theories play in new learning environments? Are these theories suited to accommodate a changing academic landscape, and if so, what theories are most appropriate for this new pedagogy?
